Ingredients

  • 200 grams blueberries
  • 1 lemon zest (and juice)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 80 grams flour
  • 50 grams unsalted butter (softened, cut in pieces)
  • 50 grams hazelnuts (crushed, or flour)
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  2. In baking bowls, pour and divide the blueberries, mixed with lemon zest, lemon juice, and cornstarch.
  3. In a bowl, using your fingers, mix the flour with the butter, and combine the ingredients to a thick crumble.
  4. Add the hazelnut flour and sugar, and mix well.
  5. Spread over blueberries, and bake for 30 minutes, or until the topping is well browned and crispy.

Everyone knows when I make this 5 star crumble recipe as the house smells amazing. The strong hazelnut taste really sets off the tartness of the blueberries and has the right amount of crumble to it.
