  • 2 onions (small, chopped)
  • 2 carrots (sliced)
  • 2 stalks celery (sliced)
  • 1/2 tablespoon parsley
  • 1/4 cup barley (I use a little more, we love it!)
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon instant beef bouillon
  • salt
  • pepper
  • egg noodles (. cooked and drained, I use Kluski Noodles, optional)
