Description

This rich bread comes together in about an hour for a savory and delicious snack. Green beans and ham are mixed into the dough for a ton of flavor and depth. Walnuts and cheese are also mixed into the batter, for a bit of crunch and creaminess. You can serve this bread with a little bit of butter for a snack, with a light salad for lunch or dinner, or try it as a savory french toast for breakfast.

Ingredients

250 grams green beans
80 grams ham
3 eggs
100 milliliters milk
60 milliliters olive oil
250 grams flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
salt (to taste)
pepper (to taste)
dried thyme
50 grams chopped walnuts
150 grams mozzarella cheese (grated)

Directions

1Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
2Boil the green beans and then cut them into small slices.
3Shred the ham into flakes.
4Beat the eggs with the milk and olive oil, then add the flour, baking powder, salt, pepper and a pinch of thyme, mixing all the ingredients well.
5Then mix in the chopped nuts, green beans, ham, and grated cheese.
6Pour the mixture into a rectangular pan lined with baking paper and bake at 200 degrees for 35 minutes.
