Description
This rich bread comes together in about an hour for a savory and delicious snack. Green beans and ham are mixed into the dough for a ton of flavor and depth. Walnuts and cheese are also mixed into the batter, for a bit of crunch and creaminess. You can serve this bread with a little bit of butter for a snack, with a light salad for lunch or dinner, or try it as a savory french toast for breakfast.
Ingredients
- 250 grams green beans
- 80 grams ham
- 3 eggs
- 100 milliliters milk
- 60 milliliters olive oil
- 250 grams flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- salt (to taste)
- pepper (to taste)
- dried thyme
- 50 grams chopped walnuts
- 150 grams mozzarella cheese (grated)
Directions
- 1Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- 2Boil the green beans and then cut them into small slices.
- 3Shred the ham into flakes.
- 4Beat the eggs with the milk and olive oil, then add the flour, baking powder, salt, pepper and a pinch of thyme, mixing all the ingredients well.
- 5Then mix in the chopped nuts, green beans, ham, and grated cheese.
- 6Pour the mixture into a rectangular pan lined with baking paper and bake at 200 degrees for 35 minutes.
