Ham and Feta Salad

Five ingredients (plus salt and pepper) and about as many minutes are all that's needed to pull together this colorful salad. With so few ingredients, you'll want to use the best quality of each one that you can find, most especially the tomatoes, which should be ripe but still sliceable. You can use fresh goat cheese instead of the feta cheese if you prefer, and your own favorite variety of cured meat.

Ingredients

  • 3 slices ham
  • 2 slices feta cheese
  • 2 tomatoes
  • salt
  • pepper
  • olive oil
  • poppy seeds

Directions

  1. Cut the tomatoes into thin slices and crumble the feta cheese on top.
  2. Place the ham slices as desired over the feta and season. Sprinkle with poppy seeds.
