Ham Pie with Aromatic Herb Cream

This creamy and cheesy ham quiche is perfect for brunch. Made with herbal cream, this quiche can be made with pre-made or homemade shortcrust pastry.


  • 1 base (round short crust pastry)
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 package cream (Parmalat's aromatic herbal)
  • 200 grams ham
  • 100 grams cheese (Flemish)
  • 2 sausages
  • 100 grams mozzarella cheese


  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Spread the dough in a pie pan, and prick the bottom with a fork. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs.
  4. Add the cream, and beat some more.
  5. Add ham, Flemish cheese, and sausage cut in small pieces.
  6. Combine everything well, and place on top of dough in pie pan.
  7. Did not add any spices, as the cream is already well-flavored.
  8. Sprinkle entire surface with mozzarella cheese.
  9. Bake for about 30 minutes, or until brown.
  10. Serve with a salad.

This is perfect as a main dish for dinner, or a brunch. Pair with a salad for dinner, or add some fresh fruit for brunch. You could add hash brown potatoes if desired. I followed the recipe and it was delicious! I will definitely make this again.
