Hake with Apple and Ham

Ingredients

  • 4 merluza (medallions of)
  • 1 apples
  • 4 slices ham
  • milk
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 tablespoons sunflower oil

Directions

  1. Place the hake medallions in a bowl and cover them with milk.
  2. Season them with salt and pepper and let them marinate for 45 minutes.
  3. Wash the apple and, without peeling or coring, cut horizontal slices of 2 mm (to get round slices).
  4. Place each medallion in the middle of two apple slices and wrap with the ham slice.
  5. Close with the aid of some kitchen wire.
  6. Pour the oil in a pan and bring the medallions to fry for about 10 minutes.
  7. Turn it over by half frying time to fry the other side.
  8. Remove and sprinkle slightly toasted sesame seeds.
