Hake Fish with Fresh Mushroom Sauce

Description

Ingredients

vegetable oil
1 onions (peeled and sliced)
1 garlic cloves (peeled and minced)
250 grams porcini (sliced)
5 ounces white wine
8 ounces chicken stock
4 fish steaks (thick hake, or pollock or cod)
salt
ground black pepper

Directions

1Saute together the onion and garlic in a tablespoon of oil until transparent. Add the mushrooms.
2Cook for 4 to 6 minutes. Add the white wine and simmer until the alcohol has evaporated. Then, add the chicken stock and simmer 10 minutes on low heat.
3Salt and pepper the fish and add it to the same skillet.
4Cover and let simmer on low heat. When you see that the tops of the fish are cooked, remove the lid and serve.
