I avoid night shades so I subbed green beans for the peppers to get the crunch and added mushrooms - just because. I had frozen sweet potato cubes that steam in the microwave to speed things up. My husband and I both gobbled it up in no time! Great recipe.

Very good! Used 1 massive sweet potato and had no pepper but added spinach..also a little cumin, additional garlic & a dash of red pepper flakes. Served with rice and avocado, big hit with picky 11 year old :)

This has become an almost weekly dish in my house. We love it. It’s quick, easy, and healthy and my kids don’t even realize all the veggies that are hidden in it. I typically add some cumin in while the meat is cooking to add a bit more flavor, and have also added spinach to get some greens in. I serve it on top of a bit of brown rice. It is a total hit with the whole family, including my picky toddler.

The overall flavor of the recipe was pretty good. The sweet potatoes added the necessary bulk, but without overpowering the rest of the ingredients. Not being a very experienced cook, I could have added a bit more of the basic spices. Also, I should have doubled the recipe for better serving sizes. Good recipe. Worth trying again.

I added broccoli and a bit of water to soften up the sweet potatoes. Next time, I’d skip the cheese, it just wasn’t t necessary. Otherwise, nice healthy dish for the family!

I skipped the cheese, however, It turned out better than expected. There isn't much that one can do with ground turkey and this was a pleasant spin. The next time I make this, I'll be sure to add something crunchy for texture.

This was a great success, everyone loved it! I added some cumin, turmeric, and paprika to the seasoning step, and threw in some mushrooms that I had in the fridge. Served with a side of corn on the cob. I’ll definitely make this again soon :D
