This was a super fast dinner idea and actually turned out really good. My husband loves chimichangas, but I’ve never tried making them before. I think that it’s really important to spend that 10 minutes simmering the tomatoes in with the meat mixture, really gives it that flavor. I wish I had sour cream at home when I made this, would have gone great!

Great recipe! I added some queso dip in while the meat mixture was still in the pan (after I’d turned the stove off so it wasn’t too hot) gave it a great extra bit of flavor, but requires a close eye when frying them to make sure the cheese doesn’t come out. All in all it’s a great recipe that everyone loves!

Delicious! Would definitely make it again. Added strips of lettuce, shredded cheese and sour cream on top of it, and used a fork and knife to eat.

Made some changes: used store bought jar salsa instead of canned tomatoes w/chile’s, added cheddar cheese to inside. Will be making regularly

Turned out great! I have picky eaters so I tweaked the recipe a bit. I used a burrito seasoning packet mix and added refried beans. It was a huge hit in my household. Not the healthiest meal but definitely fun to eat and quick to make.

My boys loved of course, I may add some corn next time. Super easy, I used butter for the frying. I didn't mind the onions either. Served topped with grated cheese and salsa and sour cream to dip.

Made these with Spanish rice and it was an incredible meal. It tasted like I knew what I was doing!excellent!
