Pick out your favorite sausage and get ready to be dazzled by this tangy sauce. Made with lemon, mustard, and mint, the sauce is brushed on the sausages while they cook allowing the flavors to infuse the sausage throughout the cooking process. A grill pan is ideal, but a frying pan will suffice as well.

Ingredients

  • 1 lemons (large or 2 small)
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 5 sprigs mint
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • sausages (Fresh)

Directions

  1. Put the lemon juice, mustard, salt, mint, and paprika into a bowl or mortar and mix them well, pulvarizing the mint.
  2. Let the mix rest for half an hour.
  3. Place the sausages on a hot grill or frying pan. Dust them continuously with the sauce while rotating them in order to grill evenly.
  4. Serve with white rice.

I really loved this sweet and sour in this recipe. Easy to make and really simple ingredients. The mint was a surprising touch that I found complimented the rest of the ingredients. It works really well with the sausage and gives it a lot of flavor. I have also used the same recipe with chicken breast tenders. It is very versatile.
