  • 3 slices bacon (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons smoky barbecue sauce
  • 8 slices sourdough bread (white)
  • 7 1/2 ounces baked beans
  • 2 1/2 ounces pizza cheese (grated)

Directions

  1. Preheat a panini or sandwich press. Heat a small oiled frying pan over high heat, add bacon and cook for 3 mins, or until crisp. Drain on paper towels.
  2. Spread barbecue sauce over 4 slices of bread. Top with baked beans, bacon and cheese. Sandwich with remaining bread. Cook for 4 mins, or until bread is toasted and cheese is melted. Serve.
