Ingredients

  • 1 tentacles (kilo cooked octopus)
  • salt
  • olive oil
  • parsley
  • black pepper
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 5 cloves garlic (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons red pepper (chopped)
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon tomato purée
  • 1 pinch chili powder
  • 450 milliliters olive oil
  • salt

Directions

  1. 1In a food blender, add the egg yolks, garlic, red pepper, lemon juice, mustard, tomato puree, paprika, and chili powder and mix.
  2. 2Add a tablespoon of oil with the blender on.
  3. 3When the oil is thoroughly mixed in, gradually add the remaining oil, a little at a time. Season to taste.
  4. 4Place a little oil on a griddle and heat up.
  5. 5When sufficiently hot, place the octopus on the griddle and cook on medium heat for 4 minutes on each side.
  6. 6Season and drizzle with oil.
  7. 7Sprinkle the parsley over the octopus.
  8. 8Serve with salad and boiled new potatoes in their skins.
