These grilled nectarines are warm, sweet, and oh so good. Topped with wild berry jam, this is a dessert that the health conscious, vegan, and sweet tooths alike can enjoy. Add some fresh whipped cream and you have a winning dessert that you can feel good about.

Ingredients

  • nectarines
  • jam (Wild berry, or other jam flavor if desired)

Directions

  1. Heat up the grill.
  2. Cut the nectarines in half and pull the halves apart by rotating. Use a knife to remove the core.
  3. Place the fruit on the grill, with the inside facing down.
  4. Grill for about 3 to 4 minutes and remove from heat.
  5. Put the nectarine halves on the dish and, while still hot, put the jam in the center.
  6. Serve immediately or let cool, depending on preference.

This is a perfect summer treat. Grilling is a great way to serve meat and vegetables, but fruit is another food that is yummy on the grill. This is sure to please the entire family.
