  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil (– more for the grill)
  • 1 tablespoon sambal oelek (Asian chile paste)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 cakes (fresh tofu)
  • salsa
  • 2 cups mango (fresh, small dice)
  • 1 roasted red pepper (small dice)
  • 1/2 cup roasted peanuts (coarsely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions (thinly)
  • 3 tablespoons basil (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon mint (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon jalapeño (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice

    Directions

    1. Heat 2 Tbsp of the oil in a small frying pan over low heat.
    2. When hot, remove from heat and add ginger, coriander, turmeric and garlic powder. Mix together well.
    3. Mix together Sambal Oelek, brown sugar and salt.
