Ingredients

  • 8 slices white bread
  • 6 tablespoons butter (at room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup Nutella (spread, plus additional, to serve)
  • 2 bananas (medium, sliced)
  • powdered sugar (for dusting)

Directions

  1. Spread one side of each slice of bread with a little of the butter. Spread half the bread, unbuttered side, with Nutella spread. Top with bananas and remaining bread, buttered side up, pressing down lightly.
  2. Melt half the remaining butter in a large skillet on medium heat. Cook sandwiches, in batches, for 2 mins each side or until golden and heated. Cut in half. Dust with powdered sugar. Serve with additional Nutella spread.
