Fresh green beans get a new twist with this side dish.  Serve along side of Beer-Braised Cutlets or Apple and Cornbread-Stuffed Pork Loin with Roasted Apple Gravy.

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cups cabbage (chopped)
  • 1 1/2 cups green beans (fresh cut)
  • 1 teaspoon coriander (ground)

Directions

  1. In large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat for 3 to 4 minutes, until butter begins to turn golden brown. Remove from heat and add cabbage and green beans; toss to coat with butter. Sprinkle in coriander and toss well. Return to stove and cook over low heat, covered, 10 to 15 minutes, until vegetables are crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.
