Ended up taking me about 3 hours to make it on my own, and it turned out pretty good. Just not 3 hours of work good. Would recommend making it with another person.

Absolutely wonderful. I substituted ground sirloin, and followed the rest of the recipe exactly, using kosher salt.The sauce was savory and complex, but not overpowering. This is definitely a keeper!

This is SO delicious. We ate waaaaaay too much of this. I followed the recipe exactly except on top I crumbled a handful of feta into very small pieces. It is worth the extra time and effort it requires, and will be a staple of our household from here on out

Delicious!! Entire family devoured it, including my picky son! I only added half the salt to the cheese sauce. It is the first time I have added eggs to a white sauce and I loved the fluffiness it added to topping after baking.

Delish. Will definitely make again. I didn’t salt the eggplant first and it was still delicious and saved a lot of time.

Very good. Moussaka needs feta cheese instead of Parmesan. I replaced that and didn't add the extra salt. Will make again!

It came out super salty. I followed the instructions and the cheese sauce was extra salty. It asked for a cup of Parmesan and a teaspoon of salt. The rest was pretty good but I would not add as much salt. Also I think next time i will add the sliced potato layer that I have had in other moussaka. I think it would cut the richness.

Very good, but took over an hour to prepare. Depending on your oven, you may want to cook it at 375o as mine got totally brown in 50 minutes at 400o.

It was very tasty, considering I only used 1 egg plant and one egg. I’m sure it will be better next time I make it!

Everyone loved this meal. It’s time consuming but not tricky. I love the eggs in the bechemal sauce, they made that layer. That won’t be the last time I make this.
