Ingredients

  • 50 grams onions
  • 50 grams butter
  • 50 grams flour
  • 500 milliliters vegetable broth
  • 200 milliliters heavy cream
  • 250 grams cheese
  • salt
  • ground black pepper

Directions

  1. Peel the onions, chop them, sautè them with the butter for about 5 minutes, and then sprinkle with flour.

I can't even begin to tell you how amazing this soup is. It is a savory dish that is a crowd pleasure. I love making this for my upper class friends who have to be impressed. The garlic croutons just balance the whole thing out with perfection. You simply must try this one, and it needs no adjustments to be perfect.
