Ingredients
- 10 slices bacon
- 600 grams leeks (small)
- 250 milliliters broth
- 2 tablespoons whole grain mustard
- 2 tablespoons clotted cream
- 60 grams shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 tablespoons bread crumbs
- olive oil
Directions
- 1Preheat the oven to 190 °C.
- 2Peel the leeks, wash them.
- 3Cut them into sections of 4 cm.
- 4Heat a frying pan, with a tablespoon of olive oil, and fry the bacon cut into small pieces so it becomes golden.
- 5Add directly to the pan and cook the leeks over low heat to make them more tender.
- 6Add the stock and mustard and continue cooking for 10 minutes.
- 7Add the cream and most of the grated cheese (do not hesitate to remove a little of the cooking liquid before adding the cream if there is too much).
- 8Place the vegetables in a baking dish, then cover with the breadcrumbs, remaining cheese and a little olive oil. Bake for 20 minutes so they will be well browned.
