- 3 cups unbleached all purpose flour (sifted)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups butter (chilled)
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons vinegar (I use apple cider vinegar)

I've made many pie crusts. This is essentially the same as my grandmother's, and definitely the best.
