I heard it was National Chocolate Chip Day, so it gave this fit mom a reason to add Chocolate Chips to my Protein Donuts. These donuts are tasty, kid approved and grain free!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1 scoop whey (Time, protein, cinnamon swirl flavor)
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon extract (vanilla bean)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 tablespoon stevia (Sweetleaf)
  • 4 tablespoons chocolate chips

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray donut mold pan with coconut oil spray.
    2. In bowl, mix dry ingredients. In separate bowl mix wet ingredients. Combine until batter is lump-free.
    3. Divide batter into sprayed donut molds. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
    4. Bake for 12-15 mintes.
