Ingredients

  • 1 bunch fresh mint leaves (chopped, plus extra to serve)
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 1/4 cups gin
  • ginger beer (chilled, or tonic water, optional)

Directions

  1. Muddle mint, sugar and lime juice. Fill 6 tall glasses halfway with crushed ice. Distribute gin between glasses then mint mixture. Add ginger beer, if using.
  2. Garnish with extra mint and serve.
