Man-sized portions are fun and engaging for everyone. wrap a few in the lunchbox as a surprise or serve straight of the oven. the chocolate and hazelnut mimic a Nutella taste, while the butter in the cookie creates a flakey, lip-smacking dough.

Ingredients

80 grams hazelnuts
115 grams softened butter
50 grams sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
130 grams flour
15 grams corn starch
1 pinch salt
35 grams dark chocolate (cut into small pieces)

Directions

1Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
2Quickly toast the nuts for about 8-10 minutes and let them cool before using.
3With an electric mixer, beat the butter and the sugar for 2 minutes until creamy.
4Add vanilla, flour, cornstarch and salt. Stir until smooth.
5Transfer the dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and gently press it to form a disc of 20 cm wide.
6Top with hazelnuts and chocolate chips lightly pressing on the dough.
7Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
8Let it cool slightly before cutting the shortbread in pieces.
9Enjoy at room temperature or warm.
