  • 1 butter (better quality butter makes a nicer ghee but I have used all price points. It doesn't matter if its salted or unsalted because the salt will be trapped in the milk solids. Keep in mind that unsalted butter is usually more fresh as salt is a preservative. My favorite butter to use is Kerry Gold, which is butter from grass fed cows, but it is very pricey. I get it for a good price at Costco, but it is salted.)
