Description

Known in Germany as Flammkuchen, it is typically made with a thin crust, a layer of creme fraiche and then toppings of your choosing. This recipe for Flammkuchen uses sour cream instead of creme fraiche. Topped with pumpkin, apples, onions, and bacon, this Flammkuchen is made for autumn. This recipe uses a premade pizza crust for ease, but you can also make your own.

Ingredients

1 pizza crust (premade)
5 tablespoons sour cream
200 grams pumpkin (ground)
1 apples (ground)
1/2 onions (sliced into strips)
5 tablespoons bacon (sliced into small cubes)
salt
ground black pepper

Directions

1Preheat oven at 200 degrees Celsius.
2Spread the sour cream over the pizza crust.
3Spread the pumpkin and apples on top, then the onions and bacon. Salt and pepper to taste.
4Bake for 25 minutes.
5Remove from the oven, let it cool off completely, and serve.
