Ingredients

  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 shallots
  • sage
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • salt
  • pepper
  • dukkah
  • water

Directions

  1. Clean the tomatoes and cut them into quarters.
  2. Mince the shallots.
  3. In a pan, heat one tablespoon of oil on medium heat.
  4. Cook the tomatoes and shallots for a few minutes while mixing with a wooden spoon.
  5. Season with salt, pepper and sage.
  6. Cover with water.
  7. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally.
  8. Add a tablespoon of balsamic vinegar and mix again.
  9. Serve it hot or cold.
  10. When serving, sprinkle with a little bit of Dukkah chile.
