Lemon and garlic are a classic flavor pairing with asparagus, and this quick, delicious side dish shows why. The recipe is a Yummly original created by Edwina Clark.

  • 1 lemon
  • 1 1/4 pounds asparagus
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Really great flavor. I would recommend being careful with the lemon and not too much olive oil.

I used a little more salt than recommended, and left off the zest and it was superb. My husband gave it 10 stars.

I really liked it, but my family didn’t care for the lemon and zest on it (I ate nearly all of it by myself). Very easy and quick to make.

Great! Except I used the wrong pan and oil spilled over the sides causing a temporary fire in my oven! But after I Sorted that out it was great !

Awesome. Didn’t have any parchment paper, so instead melted butter in bottom of pan. Followed recipe exactly after that and turned out great. Even wife, who normally is skeptical of asparagus loved it. Used as a side to French Onion Pork Loin.

Didn't have a whole lot of flavor to it

It never got quite done and I ended up just sauteeing it in a pan. We didn't care for the flavor either, the lemon just didn't quite fit.
