Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic (thinly sliced)
  • 1 red chili pepper (seeded and thinly sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet on high heat. Sauté garlic, chili pepper and thyme for 30 seconds.
  2. Add shrimp. Sauté for 2-3 mins until shrimp turn pink. Add lemon juice and cook for a further 30 seconds. Serve hot with crusty bread.
