Description

Try this gluten free Fruit Tart when you are asked to bring dessert to the next big event. Full of fresh berries, you can use strawberries or any mix of your favorite berries, this crustless fruit tart comes together in a blueberry champagne gelatin. Refrigerate the blueberry champagne gelatin before adding to the berries and then refrigerate the fruit tart overnight before serving. A beautiful colorful dessert, choose a fancy mold to make this an elegant edible centerpiece.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons powdered gelatin
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 0.5 liters blueberry juice (or other fruit juice)
  • 100 milliliters champagne (or white wine)
  • 200 grams sugar
  • 500 grams strawberries (fresh)

Directions

  1. Heat the lemon juice, blueberry juice, champagne, and sugar in a saucepan until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and stir in the gelatin powder until dissolved.
  2. Refrigerate until it begins to set, approximately 2 hours. Pour into a mold along with the berries and refrigerate overnight.
  3. Run the outside of the mold under hot water to loosen and turn out onto a serving platter.
