Fried Plantains In Butter

Ingredients

  • 2 plantain (lrg Ripe)
  • 4 ounces butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • sugar
  • coconut oil

Directions

  1. Peel and slice the plantains.
  2. Heat butter and coconut oil in frying pan. Add plantain and fry for approximately 4 minutes on each side. Lift plantain with spatula from time to time to prevent sticking. Drain on paper towel.
  3. Place on a serving dish and sprinkle with lemon juice and sugar. Serve warm with meat or fish.
