Description

Octopus is no longer a cuisine exclusive to restaurants. This recipe for fried octopus is easily made in a pan in the comfort of your home. Seasoned with fresh lemon and parsley, this octopus will make a showstopping appetizer or side dish.

Ingredients

500 grams pre-cooked octopus
1 onions (medium)
parsley (stalks to taste)
4 eggs
300 grams flour
100 milliliters milk
200 milliliters water
salt
pepper
lemon juice
oil (to taste)

Directions

1Start by cutting the octopus into small pieces.
2Reserve.
3Mince the onion and sprigs of parsley very well and add the octopus.
4In a large bowl beat the eggs.
5Then add the milk and beat again.
6Continue adding the flour and water alternately.
7Beat well until smooth.
8Finally add the octopus previously put on standby with the onion and parsley.
9Season it with salt and a pinch of pepper.
10Let the mixture rest while the oil heats.
11The codfish fritters should be fried with spoonfuls into abundant and hot oil.
12When they are golden brown, remove and place on absorbent paper.
13Serve it with a very sprouty bean rice!
