Ingredients

  • 1 cup water

  • oil (for frying)
  • sugar (for dusting)
  • ground cinnamon (for dusting)

Directions

  1. In a pot, bring to boil the water, butter, and salt.
  2. Then add the flour all at once, stirring quickly with a wooden spoon until well detached from the sides of the pan.
  3. Remove from heat, and let the dough cool down.
  4. Add the eggs one by one, mixing well.
  5. Once well mixed, roll the dough into a ball, and let rest.

These 5 star Fried Christmas balls are something we plan to have throughout the year. They are both crispy and soft with a tasty cinnamon dusted across the top. I added some extra powdered sugar for a sweeter taste.
