Ingredients

  • 1 whole Orange
  • 1/2 cup old fashioned oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup white whole wheat flour (100% Whole Grain)
  • 1/3 cup organic cane sugar (Wholesome, or Granulated Sugar)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup orange juice (squeezed from the orange or from a jar or a box or from concentrate)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter (Slightly Cooled)
  • 1/4 cup plain greek yogurt (check the ingredients and make sure there is nothing unwanted)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (Good Quality, check the ingredients here also)
  • white whole wheat flour

    Directions

    1. Zest the whole orange first and then squeeze the juice from it. Hopefully, it will yield about a 1/2 cup of juice.
    2. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees and line muffin pan cups with paper liners.
    3. Melt the butter slightly and let it cool.
