Ingredients

  • olive oil
  • 1 garlic cloves (chopped)
  • 1 onions (chopped)
  • 1 slice bacon (diced)
  • 2 tablespoons tomato pieces (sun-dried, with basil, or similar)
  • 500 grams mushrooms
  • salt (to taste)
  • ground black pepper
  • 1/4 chile pepper (chopped)
  • 1 sprig fresh thyme

Directions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet.
  2. Add onion and garlic and sauté until the onion is tender.
  3. Add bacon.
  4. Add tomatoes and chile pepper and simmer for 10 minutes over low heat.
  5. Add mushrooms and season with salt, pepper and thyme.
  6. Cook for a few minutes.
  7. Season to taste.
  8. Serve as an appetizer or a side dish.
