  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup cream (or milk)
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 slices brioche (thick, or other bread)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • powdered sugar (to dust)
  • maple syrup
  • mixed berries

    Directions

    1. Place eggs, cream or milk, sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl. Whisk to combine.
    2. Soak brioche in egg mixture for a few seconds each side.
    3. Melt the butter in a skillet on medium heat. When the butter is foaming, place the soaked brioche slices in the pan. Cook for 2-3 mins each side or until golden.
    4. Dust with powdered sugar. Top with berries and drizzle with maple syrup.
