Ingredients

  • 305 grams milk
  • 40 grams butter
  • 60 grams sugar
  • 1 teaspoon fine salt
  • 30 grams mashed potato flakes
  • 470 grams white flour
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons dry yeast
  • Nutella
  • 1 egg yolk

Directions

  1. Mix all the ingredients in the food processor (except the Nutella and the Brazilian) and knead until the dough is soft (for about 5 minutes).
  2. Let rise for about 1 hour in a warm place, free from drafts.
  3. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface.
  4. Spread Nutella on the dough and cover with Brazilian.
  5. Roll up dough, and cut 3 centimeter pieces, form a rosette in a round pan lined with parchment paper, or a flexible silicone mold.
  6. Space the buns so they have room to inflate.
  7. Let stand for about 40 minutes covered with a clean cloth.
  8. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  9. Brush the buns with the egg yolk diluted with a little bit of milk, and bake for about 20 minutes.
