The pastry was way too small for my 13” tart pan. Next time will try again by doubling the sizes.

Great taste, and not difficult, but it seemed like I did not have enough apples to make it look like the one in the photo. I just peeled and sliced a few more apples and I was fine . I have made one similar from another recipe which seemed a bit more "jamy". I love and trust the recipes that I find on Saveur and am never disappointed.. Sara is a force of nature and never fails to please. I have been baking for over 55 years and still love every minute in the kitchen.
