Focaccia is a simple and delicious bread to make. This version is topped with caramelized onions, tomatoes, and goat cheese for a savory and flavorful snack. This recipe takes a little time to make, because you have to let the dough rest a couple of times but you can use that downtime to create a dip or sauce to serve with the bread. This makes a great appetizer or salad accompaniment.

I was so glad I took the time to make this focaccia because it was delicious. There is a lot of flavor in this bread and it was not too difficult to make. I did use tomatoes packed in olive oil, so I just put them on at the same time I added the onion and cheese. They did not dry out or get too brown. I plan on making this again.
