I was surprised how well the allspice worked on this recipe. I added a little bit of parmesan cheese on top and used yukon gold potatoes instead of sweet potatoes.

It is delicious - I added kale (both heirloom and curly leaf) as they hold up better than spinach. I also added more cayenne pepper to spice it up more! It’s zippy!

So delicious even my teenage sons and pickey husband loved it! I did add more garlic, pepper and salt but other than that I made it per recipe

Great. Added Italian seasoning and chose not to add the canned diced tomatoes. Also cooked some egg noodles to add if I wanted extra carbs - tasted great.

Made this soup yesterday and it was a hit! The sweet potato makes this soup my favorite. Love eating this and not feeling guilty.

A little bland even after adding hot sauce, sriracha, and Sofrito. Did forget the bay leaf and that could’ve made the difference! But good otherwise! Added lentils, and subbed regular potatoes.

The flavor is mostly good, though I wish I could have made the spinach wilt better. Why does the header say that it only takes 45 minutes? On a stovetop, they recommend two hours

This is super good. I’ve made it twice now. It has a really different flavor than most soups I have eaten in the past so I’m not sure I could get tired of it.
