What rotten results. I regret wasting my ingredients and time on this recipe. The batter was far too sweet for my liking (and I even put in slightly less than the required amount of sweetner) so I added some more peanut butter since I didn't have any of the optional peanuts. The cookies burned when I baked them for 15 and 14 minutes. 13 minutes was the trick. But their taste is grossly sweet and the texture far too delicate and crumbly. They fall apart when you pick them up. I doubled the amounts perhaps that was the problem but I used unsweetened pb and Truvia, a 1-to-1 substitute for cane sugar,. so they should not be too sweet. I would not make these again.
