If you don’t want to take a lot of time working on them, then try this recipe for Florentine Cookies with Pine Nuts and Hazelnuts. It takes only 35 minutes to prepare these sweet treats that have only 60 calories per serving. This recipe combines sweet honey with salty nuts to create a rich and decadent cookie.

Ingredients

  • 50 grams butter
  • 1.25 deciliters cream
  • 50 grams honey
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 200 grams toasted pine nuts (coarsely chopped)
  • 1 orange (zested)
  • 75 grams hazelnuts (coarsely chopped)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius.
  2. In a saucepan, combine butter, cream, honye, sugar and flour.
  3. Heat thoroughly and cook for 5 minutes over low heat.
  4. Add the pine nuts, zest and hazelnuts.
  5. Pour into small Flexipan cookie molds and bake for 4 minutes.
  6. Let cool and harden before unmolding.
