Description
This recipe is from the Outpost co-op in Milwaukee, WI. I love to make these in bulk and freeze for an easy meal later.
Ingredients

6 SERVINGS
- 12 oz. frozen spinach
- 1/4 cup walnuts (chopped)
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
- 2 large eggs (whisked)
- 1/4 cup onions (minced)
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese (grated or shredded)
- 2 Tbsp. nutritional yeast
- 1/2 Tbsp. tamari sauce
- 1/4 tsp. garlic (minced)
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt
- 2 tsp. dried basil (or fresh, chopped)
- freshly ground pepper (to taste)
- oil (for sauteing)

Directions
- Thaw spinach and press any excess liquid out. (You can also use a microwave) Set aside.
- Add walnuts and panko to a food processor and process until finely ground. Add spinach, process until roughly chopped.
- Put Walnut, panko, and spinach mixture into a bowl and add remaining ingredients. Mix well to combine. Form into 6-8 burger patties.
- Heat oil in a saute pan over medium heat. saute burgers until golden brown.
