Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • chipotle chili (to taste)
  • 1 lime (the juice)
  • salt
  • 4 fish fillets (tilapia)
  • onion (slices)
  • pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. In a blender, add the mayonnaise, chili, lime juice, and salt, as needed. Puree until smooth and strain.
  3. In a baking pan, add the fish fillets and onion slices. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Pour the sauce on the fillets, covering completely.
  5. Cover the baking pan with aluminum foil.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes.
  7. Remove the aluminum foil and bake for 5 more minutes.
  8. Serve.

This fish is so simple to make, but it has so much flavor. I have served it in tacos and also on a plate with rice and beans. My family loves it a lot. We also appreciate the fact that it doesn't cost much to make.
