  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar (or black)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper (plus extra to taste)
  • 4 scallions (spring onions, chopped)
  • 1 red chili peppers (sliced, to garnish, optional)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
