This fish casserole is a ready made meal in one dish. Combining smooth mashed potatoes with fresh hake and broccoli and covered in cheese, this casserole is a hearty and filling meal for the family.

Ingredients

  • 400 grams hake fillets (or medallions)
  • 3 eggs
  • 400 grams frozen broccoli
  • mashed potatoes (bimby recipe, or instant mashed potatoes)
  • mozzarella cheese
  • olive oil (to taste)

Directions

  1. Make the mashed potatoes.
  2. Meanwhile, boil the fish, broccoli, and eggs.
  3. Once cooked, drain the fish and broccoli very well.
  4. Cut the fish into small pieces, and slice the​​ eggs in thin circles.
  5. When the puree is ready, spread half in the baking pan.
  6. On top, put the broccoli, then the fish, and finally the sliced boiled eggs.
  7. Sprinkle generously with olive oil, preferably one flavored with garlic and herbs.

I am so glad I came across this fish fillets recipe. It’s simple and easy to make, and tastes amazing. The garlic and herbs added the perfect touch and sprinkling it with mozzarella made all the difference. This would be a good idea for people who don't exactly love fish because the combination of flavors and the mix of texture from the potatoes, broccoli, and eggs compliment the pieces of fish. I usually don't like fish, but this was amazing!
