If you love the idea of making fish cakes but not the fuss and mess of having to fry them on the stovetop, here's your answer. These fish cakes are baked instead and are just as crisp and delicious as the real deal, and they get bonus points for being healthier. Sea bass is used here, but other types of lean white fish would also work, including snapper or grouper.

Ingredients

  • 2 bass (shredded see, on grill)
  • 1 medium carrot (grated)
  • 1 onions (grated medium)
  • 1 zucchini (shelled and average grated)
  • fresh coriander (chopped, to taste)
  • fresh basil (chopped, to taste)
  • 1 water (housing softened, and drained)
  • 1 egg yolks
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (as needed)
  • bread crumbs

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix well all the ingredients except the bread crumbs.
  2. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Make small portions and coat it carefully with the bread crumbs.
  4. Place in the preheated oven at 350ºF until they are golden.
  5. Serve with rice and varied salad.
