very nice and spicy! Only did 40 mins in the oven and used palm sugar instead of brown and it turned out well

Used green hot sauce from Trader Joe’s and monk fruit instead of brown sugar, was a hit! Served over rice

Turned out really great , I added a drop of maple syrup so it’s sweet first then has that firecracker kick at the end 😍

Cut the breast in half and substituted sugar for honey but did add 2 tbs of the sugar; also since it was already fried, didn’t need to leave long in oven only additional 10 minutes. It was delicious 😋 everyone loved it. The chicken was moist and tasty. Will definitely do it again!

We weren’t a huge fan of the sauce. Said we would make it again but switch it up a bit.

Hello 27 Jun
It was amazing! Rather than 1 hour in the stove I put it in for 45 to 50 minutes! I also put in 3 tablespoons of hot sauce!

Great recipe but my family doesn’t like hot sauce so I used sweet chili sauce instead-new favorite in the house!

I made this with a few changes. First I added 1 1/4 cup of brown sugar. I also added 1/2 cup Hawaiian bbq sauce. Mine was home made. Sweet Baby Rays Hawaiian would work best of anyone would like to try it. I used Frank's Wing Sauce and cut it back between 1/4 and 1/3 cup. I added the Firecracker Chicken to a bed of homemade fried rice. You might not believe me when I say this was so good. My 4 yr old said "Dad this spicy chicken is so delicious". Even the wife said this is a keeper. IF YOU LIKE SWEET HEAT, THIS CAN'T BE BEAT.

Always fun to make and definitely worth the time it takes to cook. My family is constantly asking me to make it for them.

excellent recipe! great with broccoli added!

The sauce ended up tasting GREAT. I added a dollop of hoisin. i finished the chicken in the pan with the sauce. Finishing in the oven for one hour will lead to severely overcooked chicken!!!
