It was pretty good, not hot at all. Used red devil hot sauce

Amazing! Made just as the recipe directed and it turned out fantastic! Not too spicy, not too sweet

This was surprisingly good! Will make again!
Hello 27 Jun
It was amazing! Rather than 1 hour in the stove I put it in for 45 to 50 minutes! I also put in 3 tablespoons of hot sauce!

Great recipe but my family doesn’t like hot sauce so I used sweet chili sauce instead-new favorite in the house!

Turned out really well wish I put in more hot sauce though!!
This dish is the amazing hands down

Delicious and easy! I cut out some of the sugar to increase the spice and it worked perfectly.
amazing its turned out great
I made this with a few changes. First I added 1 1/4 cup of brown sugar. I also added 1/2 cup Hawaiian bbq sauce. Mine was home made. Sweet Baby Rays Hawaiian would work best of anyone would like to try it. I used Frank's Wing Sauce and cut it back between 1/4 and 1/3 cup. I added the Firecracker Chicken to a bed of homemade fried rice. You might not believe me when I say this was so good. My 4 yr old said "Dad this spicy chicken is so delicious". Even the wife said this is a keeper. IF YOU LIKE SWEET HEAT, THIS CAN'T BE BEAT.

Always fun to make and definitely worth the time it takes to cook. My family is constantly asking me to make it for them.

excellent recipe! great with broccoli added!
The sauce ended up tasting GREAT. I added a dollop of hoisin. i finished the chicken in the pan with the sauce. Finishing in the oven for one hour will lead to severely overcooked chicken!!!
Made this for dinner tonight. it was a little spicy for me but my family loved it.

great. only use 1/2 cup brown sugar, was enough sweetness for us

Love it. Will make it again soon.

I followed the recipe exactly plus I made extra sauce as suggested and it was a huge success, though I was concerned that the chicken would be dry after an hour in the oven so I cut it back to 45 minutes and it was perfect! I will definitely be making this one over and over again. Thank you!

Delicious and overall easy to prepare, not a lot of ingredients

this is AN EXCELLENT recipe!!! just try it! Don't overcook it in the 1st step though! it WILL come out very tender if cooked properly!! Happy cooking!
loved the sweet and hot kick to the chicken. it had good flavor. will make again.
Spicy but delicious!

I loved it! My only wish is that I could’ve made it hotter. I used cholula for the hot sauce, because she’s my fav. 😁

Would’ve been 5star if I was able to use hot sauce.
I added sesame seeds to it because, well, I like sesame seeds. This was a VERY good recipe. It wasn’t too spicy. In the words of Goldilocks, “It was just right.”
so simple and so tasty!! the whole family loved it
It’s more sweet than spicy, but it tastes good
was pretty good, a little sweet for my taste tho.

this was a lot of work for mediocre chicken
