  • 125 grams chopped bacon
  • 350 grams sliced mushrooms
  • 2 garlic cloves (chopped)
  • 350 grams chicken (cooked, chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 250 milliliters chicken stock
  • 4 tablespoons double cream
  • filo pastry
  • sesame seeds
  • salt

    Directions

    1. Fry the chopped bacon, add the sliced mushrooms, garlic and spring onions and fry for two minutes. Add the chopped, cooked chicken and stir in the flour. Remove from the head and blend in the chicken stock. Bring to the boil and stir until thick.
    2. Add the double cream, season and put into a pie dish.
    3. Lay scrunched, buttered filo pastry on the top and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
    4. Bake at 180C for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
    5. Serve with new potatoes and mangetout.
