Description
A great hearty salad that will leave your belly satisfied. Combining the savory flavors of sausage and bacon with the heartiness of fava beans, this salad makes a great dinner or lunch option.
Ingredients

- 1 beef bouillon
- salt (to taste)
- 1 kilogram fava beans (frozen)
- 1/2 chorizos (skinned and sliced)
- 2 pork sausages (skinned and sliced)
- 1 slice bacon (chopped)
- 4 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- 1/2 bunch coriander (coarsely chopped)
- olive oil (to taste)
Directions
- In a large pan, bring to a boil, 1 liter of water, salt, and bouillon cube. When boiling, add fava beans. When the beans come to a boil, cook for 7 to 8 minutes. Remove from heat, drain the beans, and set aside.
- In the same pan, still warm, add the sausages and bacon. Drizzle with a little olive oil, and brown.
- When the sausages are golden, add garlic and coriander. When the garlic starts to sizzle, add the beans, and mix very well.
- Add more olive oil, and let cook.
- Serve hot or cold.

If you like beans mixed with your meat, give this recipe a try. There's so many different flavors that come from the variety of meats and beans. It really is a great throw together dish that has a tasty result. There is a lot going on, and it does make the dish heavy tasting. But if that's all you're eating for dinner, it does the trick well.
