took much longer than it would to make it in a frying pan. And the eggs were very dry..... I did not like this.

I used French Toast seasonings (allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon) to spice mune up. I dont know if it's because i was up all night and lost all sense of time or if it was a thing with my oven, but it wasn't as fast as i expected, it felt like half an hour before it was done but is was good!

This turned out amazing!! I added shredded cheese to the bread border and I think that added something.

It was quick, easy, and tasted great. The bread was crunchy and the egg was not overcooked. This recipe is the baseline to add more things to it. Will make it again.

Really great for anyone who has to be on a bland diet!! It can be seasoned up to liking as well. Baked or pan fried are great methods!

This is called "Bread Egg" and is a very old recipe, or it is in our house! You can grill the cut out part at the same time your doing the egg and when you serve, serve the cut out with jelly, cream cheese or just a touch of butter. My kids love them!! Enjoy!! :)
